Rosé’s “APT.” topped Billboard’s “Global 200” for 2 weeks
Blackpink Rosé and pop star Bruno Mars’ new song “Apartment.” (APT., hereinafter referred to as “Apartment”) maintained the top spot on the U.S. Billboard main chart “Global 200” for two consecutive weeks.
According to Billboard’s latest chart (November 9) released on its official social network service (SNS) on the 4th (local time), Rosé and Bruno Mars’ duet song “Apartment” topped both Billboard’s “Global 200” and “Global 200” (excluding the U.S.). It remained atop the same chart for two consecutive weeks since last week.

“apartment” is a pre-released song from rosé’s first solo studio album. It is based on a popular drinking game in Korea. The cheerful sound stands out, and Bruno Mars participated to enhance the completeness.
The song has been sweeping domestic and international music charts since its release on April 18. It topped various music charts in Korea including Genie and Melon, and ranked second in the UK’s official single chart top 100 (as of November 1).
Also the leading U.S. food and beverage media Daily Meal recently introduced the Korean drinking game ‘APT’, which is rapidly popular in the U.S., and cited Korean popular alcohol ‘Soju’ and ‘Beer’ as the best game drinks.
In addition, a cocktail called “Somaek,” which is made by mixing it with Korean beer, was introduced as a game drink.

The apartment game is a game in which participants sit around, designate a leader, shout “apartment” together and stack their hands.
It is a drinking game that was once popular among young people in Korea as the leader of the game shouts the floor of the apartment and the participants build their hands one after another, and the person who stopped drinking on the floor.
Rosé once topped both charts with her single “On the Ground,” released in 2021. This made Rosé the only Korean female singer to have two or more No. 1 songs on Billboard’s two global charts.
