Korean thriller movie “Drive” will come to the audience in June.
Merry Christmas confirmed the release of the movie “Drive” (directed by Park Dong-hee) for June on the 30th and released the poster. “Drive” is a thriller about the urgent struggle of popular YouTuber Yuna (Park Joo-hyun), who is kidnapped by an unidentified person and has to earn 650 million won while broadcasting live in the trunk of a running car for an hour.
The released poster shows the urgency of Yuna, a popular YouTuber with 700,000 subscribers. Yuna is taken by an unidentified person for unknown reasons and is trapped in the trunk of her car and has to broadcast live. The light leaking from the trunk at the top and Yuna holding a smartphone with an expression of urgency in an enclosed space give tension.

Prior to its release in Korea, “Drive” was invited to various overseas film festivals and proved its completeness. Following being selected as the closing film of the 23rd Dallas Asian Film Festival, it was invited to the 10th Greece Horrorant Film Festival, the 41st Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival Competition, the 20th Barcelona Asian Summer Film Festival Competition, and the 17th Chicago Asian Pop-up Cinema Non-competition.
