Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival 2024 in Songdo
The Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival, Korea’s leading music festival, will be held in Songdo for three days from Aug. 2-4.
The Incheon Metropolitan Government announced on the 31st that the “2024 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival,” which marks the 19th anniversary this year, will be held at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park in Yeonsu-gu.

This year, 58 top rock bands from home and abroad will be on the stage. Legendary guitarist Jack White, who received 12 Grammy Awards including the 57th Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance, will also be on the stage, as well as TURNSTE, JANNABI, KIM GORDON, SEPULTURA, GIRL IN RED, RIDE, silica gel and DAY6.
In particular, Sepultura of the Brazilian metal band will end its 40-year band history with a European performance through Pentaport, Incheon.
In March, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism designated the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival as a global festival representing Korea.
The Incheon Metropolitan Government expects around 150,000 domestic and foreigners to participate this year. The Incheon Metropolitan Government plans to actively participate in overcoming the global climate crisis by reducing about 2.5 tons of household waste by allowing the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival to be fully used.
Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok said, “The body and mind are exhausted by the heat that lasts after the rainy season, but I hope that the Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival will be a safe festival that will blow away the heat for a while and leave a deep impression and unforgettable memory in the hearts of citizens.”
