InterContinental Parnas Brian Harris, general manager, was selected as the first place in the “Hotel General Manager” category for the second consecutive year this year, following last year, and ranked fourth in the swimming pool category.
“Luxury Awards” announces the best hotel ranking by comprehensively evaluating the competitiveness of rooms, auxiliary facilities, location, service, and dining through a vote for “Travel & Leisure” readers around the world. InterContinental Parnas won three of the five “Luxury Awards” last year: City Hotel, Hotel Swimming Pool and Hotel General Manager.
InterContinental Parnas is a 550-room hotel and is considered the best facility in Korea in the MICE (corporate conference, prize tourism, convention, and exhibition) and wedding services.
In particular, Parnas Hotel plans to become the best hotel in Korea through the launch of an independent corporation and rebranding.
Parnas Hotel will also end its operation of InterContinental Seoul COEX next month and reopen as a Westin brand hotel affiliated with Marriott in September next year after a major renewal. Parnas Hotel, which has two IHG-affiliated InterContinental-branded hotels in the Gangnam area, has been thinking about differentiating itself while operating the same brand hotel, but decided to keep InterContinental Parnas the same and change the brand of InterContinental Seoul COEX.
