The Hwagang marsh snail festival will be held in Cheorwon
The 18th Cheolwon Hwagang marsh snail festival will be held from the 1st to the 4th of next month at the Hwagang Shiri Park in Gimhwa-eup, Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do.
According to Cheorwon-gun, this festival hall will feature a large swimming pool, water riding, super-large water slides, and water attraction play areas.

Also, experience programs such as “200,000 Water Balloon Competition,” “Hwagang Dokkaebi Competition,” and “Cheolwon Colourful Tourism Exhibition” will be held either.
Especially, Cheorwon-gun explained that it will expand the size of the experience centre so that many tourists can participate in the festival’s main content, “Catching Golden Snails.”
The night performance will feature a civilian-military harmony event, opening event and a national sword dance competition involving the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division. Popular singers such as Cho-ah, Ha Hyun-woo, Haiki, Kim Soo-chan, Miran-i, Blase and Novrain were also prepared.
“A variety of experience and performance programs have been prepared for Cheolwon’s special four days,” said Lee Hyeon-jong, head of Cheorwon County. “I hope you will make pleasant memories with your family, lovers, and friends this summer.”
