The 2024 Jeonju World Sound Festival will be held in August

The Jeonju World Sound Festival will be held for five days from the 14th to the 18th. A total of 78 programs will visit the audience.

The opening performance will be filled with Imsil Pilbong Nongak, a state-designated intangible heritage. Imsil Pilbong Nongak is a Korean traditional music in which the resident community of Imsil, Jeollabuk-do continues its existence.

Major performances include Lee Ja-ram-Jeokbyeokga, Kim Young-ja-Shimcheongga, Wang Gi-seok-Sugungga, Park Ga-bin-Chunhyangga, Chae Soo-jeong-Heungboga, followed by Jeon Hyun-ho, Choi Kyung-sun, Koo Ye-eun and Kim Na-ri as “Morning of Jeonju.”

The closing performance is Cho Sang-hyun and Shin Young-hee’s “Big Show.” This is a reconstructed version of the sound and jokes of the two master singers based on KBS’s “Hanse with Cho Sang-hyun & Shin Young-hee’s Sound.”

In addition, Kyunghwa Jung & Lim Dong-hyuk Duo Recital, Honam Opera Company, Sejong Soloistz, Kang Eun-il Haegeum Plus, and Danny Koo & Cho Yoon-sung Trio were prepared under the co-planning of Jeonbuk CBS.

Six foreign invited performances have also been arranged. Four sound festival programs for children are waiting for children, and tickets are also cheap at 10,000 won (Approximately 9 U.S. dollars).
