High1 Ski Resort Officially Opens “The season of skiing is here”
High1 Ski Resort, operated by Kangwon Land, opened an Athena 2 and 3 slope and a sledding slope on the morning of the 6th of this month to announce the start of the ski season in earnest.
Known for its relatively long slopes, high-end snowmaking and natural scenery of Baekdudaegan, High1 Ski Resort plans to open 15 slopes of various difficulties sequentially by mid-April. At High1, novice skiers can start from the top and climb down the wide, gentle 4-kilometer slope while enjoying the winter mountains.

From the 23rd, Snow World, a winter playground where you can enjoy snow fields without skiing, will open for family members with children.
Snow World, which is built on a large scale on the section from High1 Tower to Mountain Hub, is popular with both men and women of all ages as it has various snow-themed facilities such as rafting sledding, ice slides, and tube sledding.
High1 Ski Resort has plenty of things to see and enjoy along with skiing and snowboarding. During the Christmas season, there is a “Winter Wonderland DJ Party” featuring DJ Tiz and Sklvy, and during the year-end and New Year holidays,
A “Campfire” will be held where you can feel retro sensitivity as a customer appreciation event. At the campfire, you can warm up your frozen body by baking free baked sweet potatoes and marshmallows.
