Autumn flower fair opens in Anmyeon-do, Taean

A feast of beautiful autumn flowers will be held in Taean-gun, a city of flowers and the sea.

Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do, announced on the 12th that the “2024 Taean Autumn Flower Fair,” where you can meet autumn flowers from all over the world at the Kkotji Coastal Park in Anmyeon-do, will be held from September 13 to November 4.

Organized by Korea Flower Park, the festival will attract visitors’ attention with a variety of autumn flowers that have not been easily encountered, including chrysanthemums, known as representative autumn flowers.

Examples include “Sanpacens” on wooden sculptures, “Cleome,” which resembles the queen’s crown, and “Angelonia,” which continues to have flower stalks, and other varieties, including mandrami, merigold, verbena, cosmos, and sunflowers, are on display.

An official at Korea Flower Park said, “We paid special attention to making it a safe festival, such as minimizing performances and experiences and focusing on flower production. I hope you have a happy healing time with autumn flowers on the beautiful beach in Taean.”
