116 Years of Jochiwon Peach Festival at Sejong city

Sejong City’s Economic and Industrial Bureau announced that it will hold the 22nd Sejong Jochiwon Peach Festival under the theme of “116-year-old Jochiwon Peach” for three days from July 26 to 28.

The festival will be promoted as a summer cultural tourism festival representing Sejong by preparing various contents such as the Black Eagles air show, citizen participation flash mob, and the Seongseong-gil Cultural Festival in Jochiwon-eup.

The main venues are Dodori Park and Sejong Civic Stadium, and related events will also be held at Seongseong-gil, 1927 Art Center, and Cultural Garden.

In addition, NH Nonghyup’s Sejong Sales Headquarters and Sejong City’s peach farmers collaborated to secure more than twice the volume of peach sales.

The direction of the peach festival was organized as a festival with citizens such as farmers, local organizations, and college students, focusing on ▲ summer ▲ Jochiwon ▲ peach ▲ civic participation.

In addition, the festival color will be peach pink, and special benefits will be given when wearing pink fashion items.

On the afternoon of the 26th, the first day of the event, the Mosquito Field Family Film Festival will be held where the whole family can enjoy the midsummer atmosphere with various performances.

At 10 p.m. on the 27th, the air show of the Korean Air Force’s special flight team “Black Eagles,” which will be held for the first time in the Jochiwon area, will be held.

In particular, the “Starlight Drone Show” will embroider the summer night sky with the keywords of blue bird , peach flower, and 116years of Jochiwon Peach festival, which received great response last year.

This year, various things to enjoy have been prepared to foster the Jochiwon Peach Festival as a representative summer cultural tourism festival in Sejong City.

In particular, to overcome the summer heat, the “Water Air Fight” will be held on the auxiliary stage of Sejong Civic Stadium on the 27th.
