Boryeong Mud Festival will be starts on July 19th


The “Boryeong Mud Festival,” which has established itself as Korea’s representative summer festival, will open on July 19 at Daecheon Beach in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do, and will be held until the 8th and 4th.


The Boryeong Mud Festival venue, which marks its 27th anniversary this year, will be equipped with mudful zones, family zones, and water park zones, providing different fun and enjoyment with various experience programs such as △ Mud bath △ Mud slide △ Mud massage △ Mud Valley △ Mud Fondue.


In addition, there are many cultural performances and side events such as concerts, fireworks,EDM parties, street parades and global festival and tourism fairs by famous domestic and foreign singers


“Last year, a total of 1.64 million tourists visited the Boryeong Mud Festival, which helped revitalize the local economy,” a city official said. “The mud at the festival is providing natural mud which collected from clean natural environment, which is safe and eco-friendly. We will launch a campaign to encourage the use of multi-use cups and tableware to reduce plastic waste during the festival.”
