Westin Josun Busan, the oldest luxury hotel in Busan, has completed a three-year refurbishment project.
According to Westin Josun Busan on the 10th, the hotel has been working on sequentially refurbishing spaces such as swimming pools, lobbies, and panoramic lounges for the past three years under the theme of ‘New Wave in Haeundae’.
The renewal process was partially carried out to minimize customer inconvenience, and it features a design that harmonizes with the natural environment surrounding Dongbaek Island and Haeundae Island. In particular, in the final stage, the reception and panoramic lounge of the lobby floor were newly reopened and ready to provide the best service.
The renewed lobby emphasizes the classical mood and openness, and reflects the scenery of Haeundae in the interior. Panorama Lounge is the largest single malt whisky in Busan, and contains different charms of day and night under the theme of Modern & Classic.
Last year’s renewed rooms and swimming pools created a calm atmosphere based on the natural colors of Dongbaek Island, and sought a comfortable rest for customers by using the space efficiently.
Park Sang-jo, general manager of Westin Josun Busan, said, “Through the three-year renewal project, we have saved the hotel’s classic charm and modern sense at the same time,” adding, “We will provide the best service to our customers.”
Westin Josun Busan is also famous for accommodating state guests visiting Busan since its opening in 1978, and currently has 290 rooms and five F&B establishments. Located at the entrance to Dongbaek Island, visitors can enjoy the Haeundae Beach and Gwangan Bridge.
