Seoul Tourism Foundation Launches New App for ‘Discover Seoul Pass’

Marking its eighth anniversary this year, “Discover Seoul Pass” is a tourist pass exclusively for foreigners, offering English, Chinese characters, Chinese characters, traditional characters and one literature service. It has accumulated 900,000 times of free tourist attractions so far.

The new app has improved the convenience of use by reorganizing the screen configuration, which was previously provided as a ‘web view’, to focus on mobile. In particular, it improved the convenience of use by adding a function to download gifts and coupons.

Discover Seoul Pass includes six of the 10 most satisfied Seoul tourist destinations based on the 2023 Seoul Outpatient Tourism Survey, including Gyeongbokgung Palace, N Seoul Tower, Hangang Park, Lotte World, Changdeokgung Palace, and DDP as affiliated facilities.

Lotte World, E-Cruise, SK eSIM, Airport Railroad Direct Train, COEX Aquarium, Tareungyi, Hanbok Rental, etc., and 102 tourist destinations that can be used at discounts, provide abundant benefits to foreign tourists.

“Discover Seoul Pass is the only tourist pass that can solve tourist destination use and transportation benefits at once,” said Gil Ki-yeon, CEO of the Seoul Tourism Foundation. “We hope that we will be able to provide more benefits through cooperation with various organizations.”

Busan launches local currency ‘Busan Pay’ for foreigners.
