Pohang International Light Festival of 1000 Drone and Mega Fireworks

The Pohang International Light Festival began in 2004 when it held a fireworks show to commemorate Pohang Citizens’ Day under the theme of “Light,” which symbolizes Pohang, a world-class steel city, and “Fire,” which symbolizes a hot furnace. Since then, it has expanded into an international festival event, and famous overseas fireworks teams participate every year. The festival contents are also a festival of harmony that combines industrial and cultural elements such as a breakaway from the focus of simple “fireworks,” production performances and light parades.
